By combining the operational flexibility of Visual Flight Rules with the ability to fly through all meteorological conditions, Digital Flight brings the benefits of digital avionics to all airspace users while improving safety and enhancing efficiency. This panel will discuss the technologies enabling digital flight and the research that is needed to unleash the operational benefits.
